Webinar to provide overview of academic opportunities at ORNL

Oak Ridge National Laboratory offers a range of academic opportunities for undergraduate, graduate students and faculty across fields such as materials science, nuclear science, artificial intelligence, manufacturing and more. An internship at ORNL allows students to work alongside scientists and engineers to shape the future of science and technology. 

ORNL’s Office of Research Education is hosting "Future Innovators at ORNL: Academic Opportunities at the Lab," an informational webinar, at 3:30 p.m. ET Monday, April 14. Register online to access the Zoom meeting.

Featured speakers include:

  • Robert Wagner, associate laboratory director for the Energy Science and Technology Directorate.
  • Brittany Rodriguez, an early-career manufacturing engineer and technical staff member at the Manufacturing Demonstration Facility at ORNL.
  • Jackson Gainer, a student affairs specialist in ORNL’s Office of Research Education.
