Corporate Fellows

The rank of Corporate Fellow is the highest recognition ORNL bestows upon members of the lab’s research staff, acknowledging significant accomplishments and continuing leadership in scientific, engineering and technological fields. The Corporate Fellow designation recognizes standing in the scientific community as an exceptional and influential researcher and as a role model and mentor among peers and early career staff.

Corporate Fellows serve as science and technology leaders who demonstrate lasting technical and organizational impact and drive major initiatives at the laboratory. By recruiting, mentoring, and positioning the next generation of scientific leaders and supporting leadership hiring, Corporate Fellow selection, and operational and research objectives, Corporate Fellows help shape the science future of the laboratory. Less than one percent of ORNL researchers hold this rank.
