Md Shahinul Islam

Bio

Dr. Shahinul Islam is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Power Exhaust and Particle Control Group group at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He received his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Tsukuba in March 2018. Prior to joining ORNL in August 2021, he worked for the University of Tsukuba and the National Institute for Fusion Science as a researcher. 

His main fields of research interest include nuclear fusion, divertor plasma physics, plasma diagnostics, and numerical simulations. He has authored and co-authored 30 peer-reviewed journal articles to date.
