Bio
Phani Marthi completed his Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in May 2010 from Guru Nanak Engineering College, affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India. In 2013, Phani Marthi joined the graduate program at Missouri University of Science & Technology (MS&T). From January 2018 – December 2018, he interned at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) and worked as a sub-contract student at ORNL from December 2018 – December 2020. He received his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering in May 2021 from MS&T. He was a Postdoctoral research associate in the Power Electronics Systems Integration group at ORNL from March 2021 – March 2023. He is currently an R&D Staff Associate in Grid Systems Modeling and Controls group at ORNL. His main research interests include the integration of power electronic-based resources, their modeling, simulation, control, and applications.
