Problem Statement
Provide technical support to the NRC in support of their review of nuclear criticality safety (NCS) licensing submittals and other issues associated with storage and handling of nuclear fuel at power plants and in storage and transportation systems.
Technical Approach
Support provided involves active participation in review of licensing submittals and supporting technical reports and in preparation of technical reports on specific topics of interest to the NRC.
Support also includes preparation and conduct of topic-specific training for NRC staff responsible for licensing activities.
