Radiation Transport Group

The Radiation Transport Group leads the computational nuclear engineering community in radiation transport analysis and shielding by developing, applying, and deploying next-generation modeling and simulation capabilities. The group has an accomplished track record in solving challenging radiation transport problems across a wide range of applications with a specialty in large-scale system analysis such as shielding for the ITER international fusion project. The staff members perform basic and applied R&D, using their analysis experience and expertise to provide problem-solving tools and technical solutions to government agencies and private organizations.
