
Bio
Dr. Plotkowski is a Senior R&D Staff and Group Leader for Computational Coupled Physics within the Computational Sciences & Engineering Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He received his Ph.D. in Material Engineering from Purdue University following a B.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering and M.S.E. in Product Design and Manufacturing from Grand Valley State University. His research interests include design of new alloys for additive manufacturing and modeling and simulation of metals processing and microstructure evolution.
