Mostak Mohammad is working on high-power (11 to 750 kW) stationary and dynamic wireless charging for electric vehicles. His research interests include wireless charging, rotary transformer, magnetic materials, electromagnetic shielding, and electric machine design.

Mostak received Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Akron, Ohio in 2019 and  B.Sc. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 2009. 

 Mostak received R&D100 Award in 2024 and UT-Battle Awards in 2021 and 2024. He has published 10 journal papers in IEEE Transactions, received 5 best paper awards, and granted 2 patents.  He is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEEE).
