Lexie Yang

Hsiuhan Lexie Yang is a Research Scientist in Geographic Information Science & Technology Group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Her research interests are developing high performance machine learning and deep learning approaches for large scale data analysis, transfer learning for high dimensional data knowledge retrieval. Her research experiences from NASA AIST, NSF and DOE sponsored projects include conceiving domain adaptation approaches for temporal data analysis and representation learning methods for classification of high dimensional data, designing multi-source data fusion frameworks, leading the evaluations and design of UAV imaging system. She received a PhD in Civil Engineering and a Statistics Certificate in applied Statistics from Purdue University in 2014.
