Bio
Jonathan began working at ORNL in 2016 as an Oak Ridge Associated
Universities laboratory tech intern at the Spallation Neutron Source and
transferred to working with the Applied Catalysis and Emissions Research
Group later in the year. He was hired in 2019 as an associate technician.
Jonathan provides critical research support by creating CAD drawings;
designing, fabricating, and operating experimental systems; establishing
new laboratories and renovating older experimental systems; maintaining,
troubleshooting, and repairing instruments; and managing gas cylinder
inventories. He has also contributed to core experimental capabilities,
including the carbon dioxide capture columns and the hydrogen
production and carbon dioxide conversion laboratory at the National
Transportation Research Center. He has coauthored 1 journal article and
has 14 publication acknowledgements.
