Bio
Dr Bilheux is a computer instrument scientist (CIS) working with the Neutron Imaging team. His role is to implement tools to help users with data normalization and analysis. He works closely with the scientific and engineering research community to make sure the tools available answer their needs. He also participates to experiments to understand the analysis workflow. His current scientific interests are the development of intuitive Jupyter python notebooks and user interfaces using python, pyqt and pyqtGraph. He received his PhD in physics from the University of Versailles-Saint-Quentin (France) in 2003.
Outside work, Jean enjoys flying, playing bass, puzzles, mountain biking, photography, playing tennis, ...
