Dr. Hanlong Wan joined the laboratory in April 2022 and mainly worked on Thermoelectric Heat Pumps and Cold Climate Heat Pump related projects. Dr. Hanlong Wan specializes in heat pumps, refrigeration, and machine learning techniques. He mainly focused on system modeling and system design optimization, as well as part of prototype testing since joining the team. His research interest primarily falls in the energy system prototype development and heat pump systems using low Global Warming Potential (GWP) refrigerants.
