Bio
I am a staff member in the Multiscale Methods and Dynamics Group, and work in the area of multiphysics modeling and scientific computing. My research is primarily focused on the development of advanced numerical methods to model core-collapse supernovae — in particular neutrino radiation hydrodynamics and magnetohydrodynamics. These systems are inherently multiscale, and their modeling demand a range of mathematical and computational tools. I received my Ph.D. from the Institute of Theoretical Astrophysics at the University of Oslo.
