Bio
Andrey Podlesnyak is an instrument scientist on the CNCS instrument, SNS, ORNL. His current scientific interests are in the field of condensed matter physics, quantum materials, frustrated and low-dimensional magnets. He received his PhD in condensed matter physics from the Institute for Metal Physics, Ekaterinburg, Russia. Prior to joining ORNL, he was an Instrument Scientist in Paul Scherrer Institute, Villigen, Switzerland and Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin, Germany.
