2016 ICAPP Conference Best Student Paper Awards

Askin Guler Yigitoglu received two best student paper awards from the 2016 International Congress on Advances in Nuclear Power Plants (ICAPP) Conference which was held in San Francisco, April 17-20. Her papers "Loss of Coolant Accident Analysis with Consideration of Aging Effects," and "A Dynamic Treatment of Common Cause Failure in Seismic Events," were presented at the 2016 ICAPP Conference during a technical session and were also exhibited as posters during a poster session. The award winning papers were submitted to ICAPP last year while Askin was completing her dissertation work at Ohio State University.
