Justin S. Neu

Justin Neu is a Commercialization Manager at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), where he oversees intellectual property (IP) management and technology commercialization for the laboratory’s Chemical Sciences Division (CSD) and Geospatial Science and Human Security Division. He works with researchers and industry partners to identify, protect, and commercialize innovative technologies, helping translate laboratory research into practical applications and market opportunities.

Prior to joining ORNL, Justin pursued a Ph.D. in polymer chemistry at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and served as a Venture Catalyst Fellow with Innovate Carolina, where he gained experience supporting university innovators and entrepreneurs in advancing early-stage technologies toward market readiness.
