Postdoctoral Research Associate - Molten Salt Chemistry

Dr. Yating Yuan is a Postdoctoral Associate in Chemical Sciences Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). Before he joined ORNL, he worked at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville, as a Post-Doc, focusing on Molten Salt Electrochemistry and Electrodeposition of Rare Earth Elements. Yating completed his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry at Wuhan University in 2012. His Ph.D. thesis is about Nano-Structuring Metals via Molten Salts Electrochemistry. Now, he is working on the Measurement of Chlorine Activity in Molten Salts and Development of New Reference Electrode in Molten Salts.
