Bio
Trevor D Parker is an Irradiation Engineer Associate in the Irradiation Engineering Group within the Nuclear Fission and Fusion Energy and Science Directorate. His work includes the design of irradiation experiments and isotope production in the High Flux Isotope Reactor. Trevor has a background in Nuclear Engineering and Materials Science from Texas A&M University where he completed his doctorate in the radiation and materials science accelerator laboratory.
Professional Experience
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (Summers 2016, 2017): Student Internship
Developed ICF test problems to assess capabilities of high-order Hydrodynamics code under development at LLNL. Proved that higher order codes produce better results given the same number of unknowns in a similar runtime.
Lockheed Martin (2015): College Student Technical Senior
Modeled Lockheed Martin processes to support commercial nuclear enterprise. Analyzed Nuclear Regulatory Commission requirements and mapped them to process architecture elements.
