Bio
Dr. Sunyong Kwon is a R&D staff member in the microstructure evolution modeling group in the Materials Sciences and Technology Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He received his PhD from the Department of Mining and Materials Engineering at McGill University in 2020. Prior to joining ORNL, he was a post-doctoral associate at McGill University . His research focuses on alloy design based on computational thermodynamics (CALPHAD) and machine learning (ML) modeling.
