Bio
Bekah Petrosky is a Technical Professional Staff member in the Advanced Fuel Fabrication Group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). Her primary focus is on utilizing sol-gel chemistry and high-temperature thermal conversion techniques to develop and produce uranium-bearing and surrogate ceramic fuel kernels for coated particle fuels and advanced sorbent materials. This work includes the development of advanced synthesis techniques, process improvements, consistency studies, and production scale-up.
