
Bio
Paul Nogradi began his career at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 2015 as a mechanical engineer. He worked in the Remote Systems Group and served as lead engineer on multiple x-ray and neutron generator/detector systems for imaging and material identification. Paul Has acted as the lead engineer on the NNSA’s Orphan Source Recovery Program and has led efforts to increase package security through advanced detection and delay strategies. He has also provided support for Regulatory Package Transportation testing for new package designs and old design recertifications. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering, both from The University of Tennessee.
