Bio
Neil Rutger Taylor received his PhD in Nuclear Engineering from The Ohio State University in the Spring of 2021. Neil's graduate research focused on the fabrication and characterization of wide band gap semiconductors using both standard cleanroom fabrication and inkjet printing techniques. Neil first worked with ORNL on his Master's Thesis work on the high temperature fission chamber experiment where he completed thermal and neutronics modeling of the experiment within The Ohio State University Research Reactor. Following his graduation, he transitioned to an R&D Associate within the Isotope Applications Research Group. His research focuses on the development and characterization of inkjet printed thin films, instrumentation and radioisotope power systems.
