Dr. Meghan E. Lamm is an R&D Associate Staff Member in the Manufacturing Science Division of Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). She received her B.A. in Chemistry from Illinois Wesleyan University in 2015 and PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of South Carolina in 2019. Her doctoral research focused on macromolecular engineering of biomass polymers and their applications in stimuli-responsive materials. Dr. Lamm joined ORNL in January 2020. Her current research interests include development of novel polymeric materials, such as polymer composites, upcycled polymer materials, and stimuli-responsive materials, for a range of applications including buildings, automotive, and packaging. Dr. Lamm has authored more than 32 peer-review publications, has 6 patents issued and pending, and has been an active speaker with more than 35 presentations.
