Bio
Hao Jiang is currently working with Target Engineering Group as a Mechanical Development Engineer. In this role, Hao supports reliable operation and improvements to the target systems through development and analysis activities focused on the mechanical responses of components to loads.
Hao Jiang had previously been serving as a researcher in the Mechanical Properties and Mechanics group of the Materials Science and Technology division. There she had supported several projects, including the PPU 2MW target design.
Hao earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Tongji University, and her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue. In addition to her support of target systems over the years, Hao has also worked on analysis and testing of fuel cladding and spent nuclear fuel assemblies.
