Neutron Method Development Scientist

I joined Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) in 2016 as a Clifford G. Shull Fellow and I currently serve as a Neutron Method Development Scientist within the Neutron Optics and Polarization Group of the Neutron Technologies Division. My work involves advancing neutron scattering instrumentation to investigate advanced materials with ultra-high-resolution, for example, the interplay of collective modes with quasiparticle dynamics, the discovery/characterization of new electronic phases at the relevant length, time, and energy scales. I possess a Master's and PhD in Physics from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor's degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University.
