Changwoo Do received a Ph.D. in Nuclear and Quantum Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, South Korea, in 2009 for research on neutron and x-ray scattering investigations on self-assemblies of carbon nanotube and soft materials. He subsequently joined the Jülich Centre for Neutron Science as an instrument scientist for Neutron Spin Echo instrument at the Spallation Neutron Source (SNS), ORNL. In 2011, he joined ORNL as an instrument scientist for the Extended Q-range Small-Angle Neutron Scattering instrument at SNS. Since 2017, he has been serving as a point-of-contact of the EQ-SANS beamline. His research interests include the development of neutron scattering experimental methods and sample environments for soft materials, and the investigation of structural and dynamic characteristics of soft materials using various scattering techniques such as small angle neutron/X-ray scattering, neutron spin-echo, and backscattering techniques.
