
Bio
Dr. Allison Greaney joined ORNL in 2019 as a fuel cycle chemist. She tests chemical technologies that span the nuclear fuel cycle, specializing in front-end uranium mining and milling and used nuclear fuel reprocessing. From 2023 to 2025, Allison is on temporary assignment with the National Nuclear Security Administration in Washington DC. Allison received her PhD in geochemistry in 2018 from the University of California at Santa Barbara and her BS in geology in 2014 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
