Atomic-scale probe of unconventional superconductivity


New tunneling Andreev reflection measurements reveal unique sensitivity to unconventional superconductivity through combined effects of higher order reflections and quantum interference.

Results demonstrate a new quantitative approach to determine symmetry of superconducting order parameter and its spatial variation, two critical properties for quantum information devices.
