Abstract
The purpose of this Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) between UT-Battelle, LLC (the "Contractor") and General Electric Company, (herein "Participant") acting primarily through its GE Appliances business component, is to conduct research and development to evaluate the technical and commercial viability of a residential heat pump clothes dryer that enables reduced energy consumption by utilizing waste heat from the clothes drying process.
