The Grid Systems Architecture Group focuses on overall system architectures for distribution system networks — microgrids, hubs and nodes – with integration of supporting equipment, such as distributed energy resources and power electronics. System architectures incorporate communication, control, optimization and algorithms. The group develops solutions in simulation and real-time platforms, including controller hardware-in-the-loop and full hardware systems.
