ORNL leaders and researchers across nuclear science and nonproliferation, cyber-physical security, intelligence analysis, and geospatial sciences will be on Tennessee Tech's campus to discuss their work, ORNL national security missions, and how you can join the team. 10 a.m. to Noon | Ashraf Islam Building Atrium
ORNL National Security Career Day at Tech kicks off at 10 a.m. with a series of informational booths and tables in the Ashraf Islam Building Atrium. You'll have an open opportunity to learn more about ORNL's national security missions, meet several of our research staff, and talk with a recruiter.

Seminar: The ORNL National Security Mission

Stop by the University Center for a presentation by ORNL's Shaun Gleason, director of the Laboratory's Science-Security Initiative Integration. Dr. Gleason will highlight ORNL's unique role within the US Department of Energy, our history and evolution throughout the years, as well as the challenging future of national security science.

Seminar: Emerging Technologies for National Security
2 - 2:50 p.m. | Ashraf Islam Building, Rm 130
Ed Meyer leads ORNL's Emerging Technology Analysis Group. During this engaging seminar, you'll get to choose your own adventure as Dr. Meyer walks you through the national security challenges, opportunities, and threats related to emerging technologies such as AI, biotech, quantum, and more.
