Woonghee Lee

Postdoctoral Research Associate

Dr. Woonghee Lee is a postdoctoral research associate in the Geochemistry and Interfacial Science Group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. His research focuses on pore-scale reactive transport modeling of fluid–solid reactions, including mineral nucleation, growth, and dissolution in porous and fractured media. He integrates numerical simulations with experimental observations—such as microfluidic and millifluidic experiments—to advance the understanding of subsurface geochemical processes at fluid–solid interfaces, with applications to energy and environmental challenges.
