Laura M. Harris

Dr. Laura Harris earned her Ph. D. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. During her studies, her research focused on human factor research related to safety and virtual reality studies. Her works included pedestrian crossing injury severity influenced by visibility factors and evacuation studies that includes navigation of evacuees in active shooter scenarios. Dr. Harris also earned her BSE in Nuclear Engineering at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
