I am a learning and knowledge professional with expertise in instructional design, learning technologies, virtual collaboration, and knowledge sharing. My work focuses on helping organizations translate complex information into meaningful learning experiences that improve performance, support professional development, and strengthen organizational capability.
Since joining Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 2018, I have designed and supported a wide range of training, education, and knowledge transfer initiatives for both virtual and in-person audiences. My responsibilities span instructional design, learning management systems, virtual event production, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement. I collaborate closely with subject matter experts, technical staff, and program leaders to develop learning solutions that align with organizational goals while remaining practical, engaging, and learner-centered.
A significant portion of my work involves building and managing digital learning environments, developing interactive eLearning experiences, supporting virtual and hybrid events, and creating systems that improve access to knowledge and expertise. I am particularly interested in the intersection of learning, knowledge management, and emerging technologies, including how organizations can leverage artificial intelligence to enhance workforce development, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
Prior to joining ORNL, I spent 15 years as an educator in both K-12 and higher education settings. That experience continues to shape my approach to learning design, emphasizing clarity, accessibility, engagement, and measurable outcomes.
Throughout my career, I have worked in dynamic environments that require balancing strategic objectives with day-to-day execution. Whether leading projects, supporting complex training programs, or coordinating multidisciplinary teams, I focus on building solutions that help people learn, connect, and succeed.
Professional Interests
I am increasingly interested in exploring opportunities to apply my background in learning systems, knowledge management, and digital collaboration in support of AI-related initiatives and organizational capabilities. I am particularly interested in finding ways to bridge the gap between emerging AI capabilities and the people, processes, and knowledge systems needed to support their successful adoption.
