Brittany A. McCarty

Brittany McCarty holds an Associate of Applied Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics. She joined Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) in 2023, where she supported the HFIR Beamline Operations section and currently serves as a Maintenance Engineer at the High Flux Isotope Reactor within the Research Reactors Division. Prior to joining ORNL, Brittany served in the United States Air Force, where she maintained aircrew safety and survival systems and developed strong expertise in operations support. She was a key contributor to her team’s mission and received multiple team and individual recognitions.
