Alex J. Davis

Alex Davis is the Material Operations Group Leader for IPMD at the Radioisotope Engineering Development Center.

Alex comes to ORNL from the Y-12 National Security Complex. During his time at Y-12 he served in engineering and production roles in Special Material Operations and Assembly Disassembly operations.  Most recently he served as a system health lead which is responsible for the operability, maintenance, and deliverables of all of Assembly Disassembly operation’s equipment. During his ORNL time he served as the PU loadout program lead ensuring shipping compliance and packaging of PU 238 for NASA. Alex also supported Neptunium pellet and target fabrication efforts with scheduling and overseeing engineering process improvements.
