I am a researcher working at the intersection of high-performance computing (HPC), artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cyber-physical systems. I am especially interested in using reinforcement learning and data-driven methods to make large-scale computing systems more adaptive and energy efficient. My research has spanned several areas, including high-performance computing, control systems, autonomous vehicles, computer vision, and edge-to-HPC workflows. More recently, my work has focused on energy-performance optimization in HPC systems, where I develop learning-based approaches that adapt power and computing resources to application behavior. I received my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Vanderbilt University, where my dissertation focused on reinforcement learning for energy-performance co-optimization in high-performance compute nodes. Before Vanderbilt, I completed my M.Tech. at IIT Kanpur, where I worked on vision-based automated guided vehicles. I enjoy research that brings theory and real-world systems together, especially problems at the intersection of machine learning, control, and high-performance computing.
