Bio
Yiqing Hao is a Computational Instrument Scientist for the Single Crystal Diffraction group within the Diffraction Section of the Neutron Scattering Division. He supports the three single crystal neutron diffractometers at HFIR: DEMAND, IMAGINE and WAND2. He works on implementing advanced algorithms such as machine learning methods to improve the efficiency of the single-crystal neutron diffractometers. His research interest focus on magnetic and structural properties of quantum materials especially superconductor, frustrated magnets and topological magnets.
