Bio
Dr. Yifang Liu received her Ph.D. in robotics from Cornell University in August 2023. Her doctoral research specialized in construction robotics and automation, with a focus on assembly planning using in-situ materials. In her current role at ORNL, Dr. Liu conducts research on advanced building construction techniques utilizing robotics to address challenges such as skilled labor shortages, with the goal of increasing productivity, improving quality, enhancing safety, and reducing costs.
