R&D Staff Scientist
Ph.D. in Polymer Science (University of Akron, 2010)B.S. in Chemistry (Peking University, China, 2006)My research focuses on experimental studies of dynamics of soft materials. By combining theoretical insights and a series of complementary experimental techniques including rheology, dielectric spectroscopy, light and neutron scatterings, we are developing fundamental understanding of transport and relaxation phenomena in soft matter. My research addresses three broad topics: (i) molecular association and thermoreversible gelation in soft materials with non-covalent interactions; (ii) ionic soft materials such as ionic liquids, polyelectrolytes, and electrolyte solutions; and (iii) nonlinear rheology of polymers.
