
Bio
Troy is a Technical Professional staff member at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in the Building Technologies Research and Integration Center. He has a B.S in electrical engineering technology with a concentration in controls and a B.S in Geology. Early in his career he worked in the appliance industry sourcing electronic components and developing custom integrated circuit boards. He then began a 21-year career in the HVAC industry working with 3-to-25-ton commercial equipment and controls. Currently his work focus at Oak Ridge National Laboratory is on DOE standards testing of HVAC equipment using an 8-ton psychrometric chamber in building 3170A (FRP-1). Troy also assists other researchers with their projects and tasks.
