Tonya Thompson is the administrative services manager for the Biological and Environmental Systems Science Directorate (BESSD). With over 18 years of experience as an administrative professional, she now works in BESSD to align the administrative capabilities with the mission needs.
Prior to joining BESSD, Tonya served as the senior executive assistant to the Laboratory Director. Tonya brings strong experience in providing excellent support and leadership.
Her passion lies in helping others grow and building teams of consistent and strong support members. These teams enable the success of our scientific leaders and provide better coordination, development, and professional growth among our administrative staff.
