Nonproliferation Systems Group Leader
Tim Wynn is the Nonproliferation Systems Group Leader for the Nuclear Nonproliferation Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Tim provides oversight and management of multiple IT projects for the Department of Energy (DOE) and National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA).
Over the last 20 years, he has managed several Department of Energy (DOE) and National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) initiatives from concept to completion. Tim’s comprehensive IT background includes software development, cyber security, system architecture, and IT operations. He serves as a subject matter expert on IT projects that support the U.S. nonproliferation agenda and is the IT Project Management Team Lead for the NNSA Program Management Information System, Generation 2 (G2) project. In addition, Tim supervises 30 employees in the areas of project management, software development, and IT operations.
Tim earned an M.S. in Information Science with a concentration in Information Systems from The University of Tennessee, a B.S. from Tennessee Technological University, and holds the following certifications: PMI-certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Infrastructure Technology Information Library (ITIL) Foundations, and SAFe Agilist.
