Bio
Susan Noe is the Administrative Services Manager (ASM) for the Physical Sciences Directorate (PSD). With over 25 years of experience as an administrative professional, she works closely with the PSD Administrative staff to development and assist in displaying a productive administrative skillset to fulfill the mission of Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL).
In 2013, Susan began her career at ORNL as a Group Administrative Assistant within PSD. Later, she advanced to the Executive Assistant for the Human Resources (HR) Directorate where she supported the HR Director for over 5 years before returning to PSD in 2022. She has embraced her current role by bringing experience, mentorship, and leadership skills to successfully lead the administrative staff. She holds her Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Management.
She is dedicated and passionate in helping others by encouraging professional growth and volunteering in her community. In addition to her commitment to ORNL, she is a member of Morgan County Volunteer Rescue Squad since 2003. She volunteered at her local K-12 school as a volleyball coach 2012-2023 with hopes to make a difference in a child's life.
