Steven T Gardner

Post Doctoral Research Associate

Dr. Steven Gardner is a Molecular Physiologist serving as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He received both a B.S. degree in General Chemistry and a M.S. degree in Biology from Jacksonville State University, and a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Auburn University. He previously conducted postdoctoral studies at the University of Georgia's Savannah River Ecology laboratory. His current work focuses on assessing the impacts of hydropower on biodiversity and sustainability, environmental influences on organismal aging trajectories, and the physiological impacts of radiation exposure on organismal health and longevity.
