Director, Logistical Services Division

Over forty years of U.S. Government service.  19 years as a contractor to the Department of Energy and 23 years as an active duty United States Marine.  I have been at Oak Ridge National Laboratory for nine years; serving as a Group Leader for two different Groups within Laboratory Protection Division (Safeguards and Security and Protective Force).  My current assignment is as the Director of Logistical Services Division.  Prior to my assignment at ORNL, I worked for 10 years at the National Nuclear Security Administration's (NNSA) Y-12 National Security Complex helping keep the nation's stockpile of weapons grade uranium secure.

Before working for NNSA, I served as a Military Police Officer in the United States Marine Corps.  I served for eight years enlisted and then was selected for a commissioning program serving my last 15 years as a commissioned officer, retiring in 2006.  I had multiple exciting assignments during my 23-year career as a Marine which culminated with a Presidential Support assignment as the Director of Security for Marine One helicopter squadron.
