Bio
Dr. Yoginath is a Senior Research Staff member in the Computer Science and Mathematics Division at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He earned his Ph.D. in Computational Science and Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta and his Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. His primary research interests are in algorithm development, modeling and simulation, machine learning, and parallel and distributed computing. While his research applications span several science and engineering domains, including climate science, nuclear science, biological science, transportation networks, smart grid, and cyber-physical systems, his current focus is on power systems reliability and resilience.
