Bio
I am a Research Scientist who focuses on Numerical Linear Algebra, Mathematical Optimization, Computational Fluid Dynamics, GPU Programming, Super Computing, and Quantum Error Correction. At ORNL I am focused on:
- Leading a project designing accurate, GPU-accelerated software for unit commitment under uncertainty, a notoriously difficult Mixed Integer Optimization problem.
- Leading development on ReSolve https://github.com/ORNL/ReSolve for analyzing and solving linear systems arising from nonlinear problems such as the electric grid.
- Leading a paper on Quantum Error Correction as part of the Quantum Benchmarking Initiative.
- Developing predictive model for electric demand and supply as a function of time and weather for the Tennessee Valley Resilience project on calculating reserve margins.
- Quantum Error Correction and Applications team for the Quantum Benchmarking Initiative.
- Design parameter optimization
