Bio
Sarah Powers is an R&D staff member in the Computer Science and Mathematics Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Her work focuses on integrating techniques from operations research, applied math and computer science to solve problems across application domains; currently targeting High Performance Computing (HPC) and Quantum Computing.
She received Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Operations Research & Statistics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a B.S. in Mathematics from Gordon College.
