Bio
Ray Gregory joined ORNL in 2012 as a Data Acquisition and Controls Engineer at HFIR. He has supported data acquisition, motion control, detectors, and instrument software at HFIR. In 2018, the Data Acquisition groups at HFIR and SNS were merged, so since that time Ray has also helped support SNS instruments and has contributed to several high-level software advancements, including SANS Panel Scans at GP SANS and BIO SANS instruments as well as the Cuboid tool at HB2B Engineering Instrument at HFIR.
Ray now works as a DAQ Software Engineer in the DAQ Development Group of the Neutron Instrument Technologies Section of the Neutron Technologies Division of the Neutron Sciences Directorate.
